Josef Hakl (30)

Police officer of the Police Directorate in Prague, born 24 March 1912, retired. Suspended on 18 March 1941. Sportsman wrestler. He was a member of the Nusel resistance group, which was affiliated with the Three Kings and was also a member of the Blaník resistance group. They hid weapons and obtained intelligence valuable information about the activities of the Nazi security forces, which they passed on to other resistance organizations, especially the military Defence of the Nation. He died on 14 February 1943 in the Dachau concentration camp. In October 2023, a memorial plaque was unveiled in Prague Nusle.
