František Mílek (30)

A member of the uniformed police of the Police Directorate in Moravská Ostrava, born on 24 November 1912. During the occupation he was involved in the Lvice resistance organisation, which supported the families of those arrested and prepared sabotage and subversive activities. In September 1942, the Gestapo managed to uncover this resistance group and gradually arrested most of its members. He shot himself with a service pistol during his arrest by the Gestapo on 5 December 1942 in his apartment in Stodolní Street in Moravská Ostrava.
