THE STORY
Circumstances
Member of the gendarmerie, born 21 November 1889, in Bystřice, Benešov district, Bohemia, retired. He was involved in resistance activities and was arrested on 11 August 1942 for Sokol resistance and helping MUDr. Břetislav Lyčka escape. He was sentenced to death and was executed on 24 October 1942 in the Mauthausen concentration camp together with his wife and 260 other people who helped the paratroopers.
