THE STORY
Circumstances
During the occupation he was involved in the activities of the police resistance group Blaník. He died in the Flossenburg concentration camp on 21 September 1942, allegedly of pleurisy. He has a cenotaph in Prague Krč. He received the Czechoslovak War Cross 1939 in memoriam. In October 2023 a memorial plaque was unveiled in Prague Nusle.
