Oldřich Kohoutek (45)

Gendarmerie officer, born 15 July 1897, commander of the station Proseč u Skutče, Vysoké Mýto district in Bohemia. During the occupation he joined the resistance, was a member of the Defence of the Nation organisation and helped the families of those arrested. On 6 March 1942 he was arrested by the Gestapo in Pardubice at the gendarmerie station. He was imprisoned in Pardubice and then in Dresden, where he was beaten to death on the night of 29 August 1942.
