Antonín Bezděk (49)

A member of the police, born on 1 June 1893, he joined the police after the First World War and worked in Znojmo, Šumperk and Jihlava. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia, he joined the resistance, issuing false documents to illegal workers (about 300 legitimations in total). He was arrested for this activity on 9 June 1942. On 26 June 1942, he was sentenced by the state court in Brno for disturbing public order and security to death and confiscation of all his property, and on the same day he was executed by shooting in the Kounice dormitories.
