František Hložek (41)

Commander of the municipal police of Otrokovice na Moravě, born 11 March 1900. He was the uncle of the paratrooper Lieutenant Oldrich Pechal of the ZINC parachute group, whom he supported. He was arrested on April 4, 1942, because he failed to display a likeness of his nephew Oldřich Pechal, which the Gestapo sent to all police services for publication. He was executed by shooting in the Second Martial Law in Brno in Kounic\'s dormitories on 12 June 1942. He was awarded the Czechoslovak War Cross 1939 in memoriam.
