Ladislav Máčel (44)

Employee of the Police Directorate in Brno na Moravě, born 26 August 1897, RNDr. During the occupation he was involved in the resistance in the police group of the Defence of the Nation organisation. At the Police Headquarters in Brno he was involved in issuing passports to people in need. He was arrested on 1 October 1941. He was sentenced to death and confiscation of all his property by the state court in Brno on 11 June 1942 for disturbing public order and security and for preparing treason and was executed the same day in Brno in Kounic\'s dormitories. He has a cenotaph in the central cemetery in Brno.
