Václav Rybníček (43)

Member of the gendarmerie in Moravia, born 4 September (November) 1898, member of the Italian Legion. During the occupation he was involved in the resistance, helped the paratroop groups from the USSR. After his arrest by the Gestapo, he was imprisoned in Brno and sentenced to death and the confiscation of all his property by a sentence of the state court in Brno on 22 December 1941 for disturbing public order and security, for acts of sabotage and for preparing the crime of treason. The sentence was executed in the Mauthausen concentration camp collectively on 72 persons on 7 May 1942 by shooting.
