František Pavličík (43)

Gendarmerie officer, born 31 July 1898, commander of the station Rataje, Kroměříž district, Moravia. During the occupation, he joined the resistance, gathered intelligence information, hid weapons and ammunition and hid an illegal radio in the gendarmerie station and in his apartment. On 12 November 1941, he was arrested by the Gestapo in his apartment and imprisoned in Moravská Ostrava and in Kounic\'s dormitories in Brno. He was sentenced to death and subsequently delivered to the Mauthausen concentration camp, where he was executed at 2:28 p.m. on May 7, 1942. He received the Czechoslovak War Cross 1939 in memoriam.
