THE STORY
Circumstances
Member of the gendarmerie in Moravská Ostrava in Moravia, born 9 February 1890. He was involved in the resistance in the Defence of the Nation and in the Lvice group. After his arrest by the Gestapo he was imprisoned in Brno. He was sentenced to death by the sentence of the martial court on 22 December 1941 and transported to the Mauthausen concentration camp where he was shot on 7 May 1942. The sentence was carried out collectively on 72 persons.
