THE STORY
Circumstances
A member of the gendarmerie at Lanžhot station in Moravia, temporarily assigned to the gendarmerie guard detachment in Podivín. He was involved in the Defence of the Nation organisation. On 9 September 1941 he was arrested by the Brno Gestapo. He was tortured in the Mauthausen concentration camp on 7 March 1942.
