THE STORY
Circumstances
Member of the state police in Olomouc in Moravia, born 25 October 1898. He was involved in the resistance in the Defence of the Nation (Olomouc region, police group) and arrested by the Gestapo in January 1940. He was transferred to Brno for further proceedings and executed in Frankfurt am Main on 19 February 1942. The urn with his remains was placed in the Central Cemetery in Brno. In Brno Komárov, a street is named after him.
