THE STORY
Circumstances
Our colleague Fred Rademaker passed away on 17 June 2024.
Fred passed away due to illness on 15 August 2022 and since then had been staying alternately in hospital and in rehabilitation and care homes. Fred was working at Team Covert Operations (THO) of the East Brabant unit. There, he held the position of Senior Technical Support (STO). Fred operated in the covert operations field for many years, including working at the RST.
Fred was known as a highly driven and valued colleague. He had a sense of humour, was straightforward and extremely creative. Fred was proud of his work. During sick visits, he visibly enjoyed reminiscing with colleagues about old and exciting stories. Fred had a large social network and was known as a charming and flamboyant bon vivant. Privately, he played a significant role in club life. Among other things, he was chairman of the Stichting Oetelconcert ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
