THE STORY
Circumstances of death
On November 11, 1953, colleague Foley and a colleague were on foot patrol in the direction of Limerick. A truck traveling along the road in the same direction collided with the colleague. He was taken to hospital and succumbed to his injuries there on November 13, 1953.
