THE STORY
Circumstances of death
On January 18, 1934, colleague Forde and colleague Michael Kennelly returned to Maam Garda Station after accompanying a patient to Ballinasloe Mental Hospital. In their carriage, in which they were traveling at the time, they went off the road. The colleague Forde drowned in a river.
