Colleague Johannes Smutek died from the bullets of a submachine gun on November 7, 1993. Two perpetrators broke into a police station and stole radios and weapons. During an alarm search, the colleague, who is not on duty, wants to say something to another colleague. At that moment, the two perpetrators pass by in a vehicle, see the two and immediately open fire with a submachine gun. The colleague is fatally shot.
