The colleague Karl Kerschbaum died on September 5, 1984. The colleague was called together with a female colleague to a rowdy person. When they arrived there, they met a man with whom there was a scuffle. The man pulled out a pistol and shot at the colleague. The latter was able to shoot the perpetrator in the arm at the last moment before the colleague collapsed dead.
