The alpine policeman was hanging on a rope under a helicopter together with two mountain rescuers. The reason for the mission was a rescue operation on the Großvenediger. When the helicopter got into the fog, the pilot decided to disconnect the alpine policeman, assuming that he was only 5 meters above the ground. The alpine policeman was fatally injured in the fall.
